Any hints on where to find mod lighting fixtures not a bazillion dollars? I didnt realize they were so expensive at all...

yeh i looked at ikera and i reallylike their stuff... i dont want an IKEA condo but its like their prices, you cant resist

Try Ikea and Design Within Reach. Ikea's got some surprisingly kewl stuff for not much. (My favorite is the Grono, which can be purchased separately in the stores for only $6 -- they are perfect "niche" lights, where you want a light but not an obvious LAMP.) DWR is pricier, but has the classics, like Nelson Bubble Lamps. :o)
