A (Tile) River Runs Through It

Spotted this in a recent publication distributed by The Tile Shop. The ‘stream’ is actually glass tile. Also, imagine a 'dry river bed' made out of river rocks or rock mosaics, much like the image below, only more organic in shape, of course.

I was once in a bar in Kyoto that had a this tiny decorative stream running through it, I have no idea how they did it or how they kept drunk patrons out of it but it was MOST impressive.

We did a river rock floor in our shower and I love how it feels on the feet! I don't know if we would have done this, but we stayed in a houseboat B&B once and the whole shower was done in river rock and we loved it.
